Malaga, March 20, 2024. The Transfiere 2024 fair begins. This fair is the main R&D&I meeting in Southern Europe to share scientific and technological knowledge, promote innovation and connect science and business. Transfiere becomes every year in Malaga an unmissable event for the Ecosystem Agents where to establish new B2B contacts, networking, find new partners, establish strategic alliances and synergies, as well as to present new products, services and innovative projects. The fair will be held on March 20, 21 and 22, 2024.
At the Transfiere fair there will be a wide variety of spaces, including:
· Science Room: success stories and lessons learned; and research and innovation in health, protagonists of this space.
· Innovation Room: Disruptive technologies, R&D&I in the business sector and European funds for reactivation, central axes of this space.
· Research Center: Advances in research by research groups, startups, spinoffs and companies through the exhibition of solutions, opportunities and prototypes.
· Agora: Space for reflection and debate on research, technologies, policies and strategies that will define the future of the innovation ecosystem.
· Andalucía Knowledge: Knowledge Transfer in Andalusia: opportunities for collaboration with the agents of the Andalusian Knowledge System and companies.

Session description:
· 10:35-10:55: Promotion of R&D policies for the generation, valorization of scientific-technological assets and the creation of high impact companies.
The Basque Country has made a continuous commitment to science, technology and innovation as a basis for business competitiveness, supporting the entire R&D&I value chain with different aid instruments, with a clear focus on results, promoting itineraries with the potential to reach the market.
Basque Tek Ventures is a technology transfer Venture Building initiative led by the Basque Government and SPRI, in collaboration with BRTA, Gestión Capital Riesgo Euskadi and the BICs that promotes and accompanies the creation of high impact startups prioritizing the technological assets with the greatest potential of BRTA's research centers, supporting the configuration of high performance teams and accompanying the start-up of the company and its access to the market.
The session will show the strong commitment to research, innovation and scientific-technological entrepreneurship of the Basque Country and the recent launch of the Basque Tek Ventures initiative with the participation of key agents that are part of it.

The recently launched Basque Tek Ventures initiative supports and accompanies the creation of Deeptech startups based on assets generated in research centers and technology centers in the Basque Country. During the session, two of the projects that have currently been prioritized in the first edition of the initiative will be shown by the promoters and promoters.
